For the past five years, Seva Niketan has been committed to improving the lives of children from vulnerable communities through a wholesome nutrition and child support programme aimed at eradicating malnutrition and promoting long-term food security. More than 150 children across two blocks are being supported every day with nutritious food supplements and regular care to ensure healthy growth, better immunity, and improved participation in education. In addition, twice every year, children and their families receive essential ration support including 26 kg of rice and 4 kg of dal, helping reduce hunger and nutritional insecurity at the household level. The initiative goes beyond nutrition by supporting the overall well-being and dignity of every child. School uniforms, shoes, and school bags are provided regularly so that children can continue their education with confidence and pride. Through this integrated approach, we are nurturing healthier children, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for a brighter and more secure future. With continued support from donors and well-wishers, this mission can reach many more children who deserve care, nourishment, and hope.
